Winston Yeboah Danso – Founder & Executive Director
Winston Yeboah Danso is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and passionate humanitarian. As the founder of East Legon Football Academy, he has spent years nurturing young football talent and creating global opportunities for youth development through sport. But Winston’s commitment to impact goes far beyond the pitch.
The ELFA Cares Foundation was born out of Winston’s deep desire to extend his reach beyond football — to support children and families struggling with poverty, lack of education, and limited access to basic needs. The idea came to life after years of quietly paying school fees for children from low-income families, donating books and learning supplies to random students in underserved communities, and helping families meet urgent needs without expecting anything in return.
These simple, personal acts of kindness revealed a bigger calling — and ELFA Cares Foundation became the structured solution to reach more children, more consistently, and more sustainably.
Under Winston’s leadership, the foundation continues to grow, driven by his belief that “where you come from should never determine how far you can go.
